A fixing bracket is included in the price of our weathervanes. Below are the available options - a choice of 5 fixings for medium and large size weathervanes and a choice of 2 fixings for petite size weathervanes. Special brackets can be produced at extra cost, typically £20 (postage extra if not supplied with vane).

1)GABLE END FIXING - MEDIUM AND LARGE VANES ONLY
This is the most common type of fixing we supply - use on the gable end of a building, or a chimney. The standard projection is 6” to the hole centre, but custom sizes can be produced.

Place over the ridge board, in between 2 ridge tiles. The standard bracket is made for 1" ridge - if different size required, please indicate on order. The length of the pole is 18" (med) or 24" (large) plus legs 6" long to go over ridge board. The legs are pre-drilled with 4 off 9/32" dia holes.3)POST FIXING - MEDIUM & LARGE WEATHERVANES ONLY
Use for fixing to a flat horizontal surface, such as the top of a post or cross bar of pergola. The base plate has 4 x 7/32" dia (med size vane) or 9/32" dia (large size vane) fixing holes. The plate is 70mm square.4)CLOCKTOWER FIXING - MEDIUM & LARGE WEATHERVANES ONLY
Use on a clocktower, or where the roof comes to a point. There is 12” above the roof-line, with the bottom 5” being re-inforced. Below the roof line is 12” of M12 screwed rod, which can be cut to size on site.5)SIDEPLATE FIXING - MEDIUM & LARGE WEATHERVANES ONLY
Use to attach to upright of pergola or any other side-fixing application where there is no overhang. Holes are 7mm dia.Fixing Options for Petite size weathervanes
